Brittany is a talented and passionate Yoga Teacher, nutritionist and dj who resides in Vancouver, BC.

She first found yoga while travelling Southeast Asia, and instantly knew that this practice would be with her for a lifetime. In Brittany’s classes you can expect to feel nourished and rejuvenated. She is a strong Vinyasa teacher who challenges her students with encouragement and ease. Brittany creates a space that is accessible for anyone whether you are just starting out or have been practicing for years. She naturally guides her students in and out of poses, gracefully weaving them together like a natural melody. Be prepared to go deep in her class and reflect inward on the intention behind your practice.

Brittany took her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Mike Nichols at the Shine Shack in Vancouver, BC. In this training she gained a solid foundation in vinyasa yoga, mantra and meditation. More recently, she completed a Yin teacher training with Jodi Dodds at North Yoga.

Her classes bring a sense of compassion with an emphasis on sound healing and movement for longevity. Brittany is also a Holistic Nutritionist and a DJ. She loves to share her knowledge and wisdom on music, herbal medicine and healing foods.

Theres nothing that isn’t Sharpe about Brittany, her wit and sincere clarity radiate from her soul and the yoga practice is her pure element. Her attentiveness to the people in her space is a gift to witness and her energy is infectious. Accessible, safe and nurturing all at the same time; her anatomy, sequencing and subtle body integration is seamless. As a fellow alumni of the same training as Brittany, there’s a special delivery that signifies that she learnt from the same philosophy and intentions in space holding for her students. I don’t practice vinyasa yoga regularly anymore and more Hatha-oriented, however Brittany has certainly provided me the safety and security for whenever I seek a little more fluidity in my practice and you definitely won’t regret your time investment in her Sharpe + authentic wisdom.

Brittany is a wonderful yoga instructor, she always welcomes you with a smile and warm energy. Her verbal guidance throughout class is a great help when you want to get outside of your head and into your body. She is a top notch Yin yoga instructor and I also really enjoy her Flow classes. I always leave her classes feeling uplifted and while also relaxed.

What Brittany does is offer an invitation: an invitation to be more of you. The first time I took her vinyasa class, I was deeply nervous; afraid that I wouldn’t be good enough, it would be too hard, that I just couldn’t. I was met with the complete opposite. Brittany provides a safe place, with loving guidance, to explore exactly where you are in your practice while challenging you to becoming more. When I got the opportunity to work with Brittany as a holistic nutritionist, again, any shame I felt was eradicated. Brittany explores your all encompassing pathology, physical, emotional and mental, to find solutions which make sense for the aspect of your life that you want to heal. I’m so grateful to have the support of Brittany to continue to evolve into the person I want to become.
